You’ve got it right. There’s almost no chance now Republicans will rally behind Newt, the only candidate who can beat Obama. The familiar circular firing squad is armed and ready. Republicans got the name “Stupid Party” the old-fashioned way: they earned it.
I wouldn’t say that Newt is out yet. If Newt wins SC then game on if he loses and Willard wins game over!
