Vote buying.
And the reversal on the freeze will turn into a flood of more raises and bennies for the priveleged federal unionized workes soon. Not to worry.

I don’t see why not...I mean, it’s not like we don’t have the money (rolling eyes sarcasm)

The federal worker pay freeze might be over.
Just great!...that didn’t take long. Just gotta thank again all the dipwads who voted for this mess!

What? We will? Provide what? I can probably provide some free sh*t, but there’s only so much hay one unicorn can eat.

What a joke! There hasn’t been a budget passed in 2 years!
What makes anyone think Harry is going to pass on this year! This is just PR pandering. Shouldn’t even be reported in the press - it is that far from the budget ever being approved.
On the other hand, don’t worry, they’ll find a way to give them more money - the written law and Constitution have no meaning to these tyrants.

At the same time he tells the military that their pay and benefits will be cut and that tens of thousands of them will be thrown out.
When Iran launches their nuclear missiles from Venezuela and China invades Taiwan and Israel gets attacked by its Aram neighbors lets hope all those government union workers can shoot a weapon.

The repubs will quite happily go along with a pay raise for the federal drones. Then thump their chests and claim a victory.

As a federal employee (National Weather Service), I will never vote Democrat...ever!
House should block this payraise and cut DC staffing.

The employees at public sector companies that are deeply in debt face layoffs and at best pay and benefit cuts.

You are the exception. What percentage of non-military government employees vote Democratic? My guess would be 75%+.
