Rick is correct as D.P. Moynihan said, “ defining deviancy down”
This is historical fact and provable today.
It was 1973 that the American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from the DSM after reams of advocacy research .
Today, the American Psychiatric Association is creating the same advocacy research in regards to pedophilia .American Psychological Association published the infamous Rind, et al. article claiming man-boy sex isn`t that bad at all.
The effort is of course to define the deviancy down and legalize the next illegal behavior as very normal then the next, and the next, etc.
It`s the typical Alinsky doctrine , “Ethical standards must be elastic to stretch with the times. “
Constitutionally , there is no ‘right to privacy’ ergo no special “rights” can be conferred by the federal courts or Congress to those who practice odd sex in the bedroom. But as Black said ( Judicial Activism), ...there is not. There are of course guarantees in certain specific constitutional provisions which are designed in part to protect privacy at certain times and places with respect to certain activities.” Using the phrase “ right to privacy” is “ one of the most effective ways of diluting or expanding a constitutionally guaranteed right is to substitute for the crucial word of a constitutional guarantee another word more or less flexible and more or less restricted in meaning,,, ‘Privacy’ is a broad, abstract and ambiguous concept which can be easily interpreted...”
Exactly. What term was it some group of Ivory Tower s***-heads were pushing (on some thread posted here the other day) to rationalize child molestation?
“Intergenerational intimacy”?
