The Arab spring was the American fall.

It’s hard to find a time in history when a nation has fallen so quickly and so certainly by its own failed leadership.

The article title is a slur on the good name of Benedict Arnold.

I would remind you that Benedict was a private citizen and violated no oath as an officer when he delivered West Point to the English.

President Obama, as CIC, is under a current obligation to "preserve and protect the Constitution..." etc. as detailed in his oath of office.

...by its own failed leadership.

That's where you're wrong.

This is all by design, and he seems to be succeeding.

I’m beginning to think 9/11 was the end of America as we knew it. Since 9/11 we have become poorer, more subject to government tyranny, and more divided.

The hole in the ground at ground zero is evidence of our inability to come together and act. I know there is something there now, but not completed. How long did it take?

It seems that 9/11 wasn’t a death blow, but it was like a musket wound in the civil war. The wound isn’t killing us, it’s the infection.

Join the state militia. It's going to be your last line of defense.

Obama is no Benedict Arnold

Obama has been groomed as an infiltrator his whole life

That is far worse than a traitor, who was driven by circumstance

Bob Lonsberry’s writing style is not impressive to me. That said, this was a good article.

BENEDICT OBAMA

Use of the term "Benedict" implies that he was on our side at least at one point. I think I might dispute that.

Well why would we need a military when we have DHS and TSA? Afterall, the American people are the real enemy.
(Obama’s viewpoint)

>>>It’s hard to find a time in history when a nation has fallen so quickly and so certainly by its own failed leadership.<<<

It happened with the fall of Periclean Athens - within one generation. The collapse of Athens was one of the classic lessons that the Founding Fathers thought about when debating the Constitution.

And, sadly, it may be that the fall of the American experiment will be something that another group of courageous people will consider 2,200 years from now.

God help us.
