To my point (and fear of anything with more than two/four legs) NONE of these create value in our lives; much less; are they prompted by the instincts of 'moral reason'.
We do recognize and fear the 'will to power' in our President; or should; and various politicians; but somehow manage to overlook the same self-aggrandizing traits in our scientific community. . .those fueled by Government 'need' and funded by Government largesse and brought to life; by fine intellects at work; but morally inferior, rational thinking.
We know 'political meets scientific' (think 'Global Warming'; and yes, vaccines for another; but recommend Dr. Mary's Monkey, by Edward T. Haslam; to appreciate another unfortunate, meeting of minds.) for a fascinating look back - and to our future.

All well and good, but who steps up and challenges the appointment? Versailles on the Potomac is filled with gutless wonders calling themselves Republicans. And that includes all the TEA Party candidates we all worked so hard to elect.
The fix is in; the BOHICA Party rules America. And it is only going to get worse. Does anybody really think ANY of the present candidates will change ANYTHING?
