The road to the White House for this election cycle takes a detour, oddly enough, through Lake Jackson. This is a lot of what I think Sarah Palin was getting at the other day with her comments about not marginalizing the Paul supporters. Ron Paul probably isnt going to win the nomination. But his army of supporters and the money and the infrastructure he has amassed are going to end up somewhere. The more traditional conservatives need to cut a deal that can bring the Paul camp into the fold. In truth I dont think itll happen given the circular firing squad dynamics that have taken over of late. But hope springs eternal.
Sarah is right here. She is thinking strategically.
