I’ve seen pictures of this kid posing with the gun and his girlfriend. Looked like he was getting ready to shoot a gangsta rap video.
US police?
Yes, couldn’t they have just used a Jedi mind trick? Or just shot the gun out of his hand? Or used a bullwhip? /s
How do you know it was the same gun????? Simple you do not know.
How do you get shot in the back of the head at the same time you are pointing a “gun” at the perps.
So who has an answer as to why teens started finding it this acceptable to shoot like this ? When did it become a response to bullying that was never any worse than it always was ? I always wonder who can provide a good answer other than the usual horseshit about how our “gun culture” causes it.
The family wants to know when it gets it millions settlement.
The kid brandished a weapon and failed to drop it when ordered. Sounds like a good shoot to me. It also sounds like suicide by cop. If the parents want to find someone to blame they need look no further than the mirror.
“How do you know it was the same gun?????”
...Gee. I guess I don’t. Must have been one of many that he owned.
“US police?”
Can only conclude it was the Federal BI. You know, G-men.
I don’t think it is relevant whether that was the same gun or not. That’s just splitting hairs. That picture was worth 1000 words.
It’s a Brit fish wrapper news paper.
Sorry for the family’s loss. And I am certainly no cop sympathizer.
But in this case, the kid had what clearly appeared to be a gun and refused to drop it. Knowing what they did, the officers had no choice but to take him down.
I also feel sorry for the brave officers who responded to this event and have to live with this for the rest of their lives. It must be a heavy burden. But they only did what they had to under the circumstances.
i would demand an answer from the parents as to from whence came the gun in the first place?
A forensic pathologist mom ain’t. It could easily be an exit wound on the back of the head. When inflicted at close range entry and exit gunshot wounds to the head look quite similar.
In TX, it's SOP for these families to go after the Police with a Civil Right's Violation.
In my town in TX, a young man with a rifle was on a dam, threatening people, endangering the residents in a nearby assisted living facility, and shooting the rifle.
One of the Policeman who was there, and tried to get the teen to surrender was the Teen's own brother. He was there when the police really had no recourse, but to shoot his brother..
But that didn't stop the family from claiming the Teen's Civil Riots were violated because he was Hispanic..Called in the Feds, sued. The family lost, but I guess these family's just think it like playing the lottery..and maybe this time they'll cash in.
I wonder what would have happened if they had just made sure no one was in his line of fire, and just waited for an hour or so, or used gas or rubber bullets?
