The fact that JA is running against his ex-boss says there is a lot of division in the SA’s office. When Ashton retired, I figured it was because he felt stupid or incompetent or like a failure for not getting a conviction.
With this development, I’m thinking that his boss tied his hands or there were issues in the SA’s office that very negatively affected the case.

Well I still like Jeff Ashton and think he got royally screwed in the Anthony trial. Linda DB was great too.
Meanwhile, a murderess narcissist walks among us.

Read Ashton's book, Inperfect Justice...I'm about halfway through and he speaks pretty highly of Lawson...the only thing I found that there may have been disagreement about was whether or not to put the death penalty on the table...but Ashton was satisfied in the end with Lawson's decision...Ashton also thought the jury could have been a little smarter...no joke huh??
