yeah, agree, no argument here. Readers should keep in mind that the average uniformed police officer will spend his entire career without having to draw his weapon in a high threat situation. So, unless a situation is dealt with by those trained for high stress situations such as the SWAT dudes this is the outcome to be expected.
Depends on where you work. Years ago we were told that only 10% of us would fire our weapons in defense of ourselves or another. That seemed to be a little high, but many times the weapons came out in response to threats.
Just so you know, Pit1 and I were chatting about a traffic stop, not an armed confrontation. =:o)
