A Dallas woman has been searching for her granddaughter who ran away from home at age 14 in 2010 and ended up mistakenly deported to Colombia after giving Houston authorities a fake name. She remains in Colombia today.
Its a nightmare for Lorene Turner, who looked daily for her granddaughter, Jakadrien, until Dallas Police helped her discover that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Houston deported her, despite taking her fingerprints and despite the fact she spoke no Spanish

LOL
“Jakadrien”?
They should deport the person who nmade up that name.
Seriesly, Colombia is wonderful this time of year.
The news reporter also said 14-year-old Jakadrien was pregnant in Columbia, unless I heard it wrong. But nothing more about that was discussed in the report.
Something about this story just doesn’t pass the smell test.
Another I-Was-Born-In-East LA moment brought to you by Fedzilla and idiots who give fake names!
Why does this story seem like a set up for another big government program?

Now wait. The Messiah was simply helping this poor young Democrat to learn another language. Everyone knows that total immersion is the best way to learn a language.
All of us should lobby to help The Messiah learn Kenyan the same way.
I’m sorry, something is seriously wrong here.
How on earth does ICE, who can’t, for DECADES, deport Obama’s uncle and Obama’s aunt, who can’t deport THOUSANDS of drunk drivers, rapists, robber and drug dealers, how, how HOW do they manage to ship an American born MINOR to Colombia?
How does this happen? Didn’t she get a phone call? Didn’t she see a judge?
Did she just “play along” because she hated her family so much? Is she mentally defective in some way that she didn’t say “I’m not from Colombia, what’s wrong with you people?”
Didn’t she get a lawyer?
I often say: just put them on the next plane out, but I NEVER thought they actually did that.
I mean for crying out loud, the girl was 14!
You’d have thought ICE would catch the difference between Jakadrian’s age and the age of the thief she impersonated. At age 12, she would not have looked 22. But who says Jakadrian didn’t swear up and down that yes this was her, in an angry tiff. So ICE duly kicked her down to Colombia.
She is 14 NOW, she was 12 then.
Mind numbed bureaucrats.
The girl will learn the value of not lying now.
“She is 14 NOW, she was 12 then.”
Oh. my. goodness.
I totally missed that. This story is more disturbing than I realized.
The people who are saying “she gave a fake name, LOL, learned a lesson, etc.” are really missing the point.
It is very hard to think this story is true, but I must presume that it is.
I’m sure lots of people give fake names when they are arrested, I mean look at the gal’s real name, very unusual. What did she say her name was: Maria Garcia or something like that?
And they come up with this name on a warrant and what, BOOM, she’s shipped out to Colombia?
Nobody says: hey this girl’s not Spanish? hey this girl’s lying to us, that’s not her name? hey this girl seems pretty young, who the heck is she really?
I mean, they say she was arrested for theft, wasn’t she supposed to be tried on that charge?
We see story after story of illegals arrested MULTIPLE times for crimes whose illegal status is never detected until they kill or rape somebody. Big scary men. Wandering in and out of our “justice” system. Roaming our streets.
But a (sheesh!) 12 year old girl gets the heave-ho PDQ?
Even if she WAS illegal, don’t you look for a person’s parents?
I mean one moron, two morons, three morons, I get that. But just how many morons are we taxpayers paying for?
It all makes sense if you assume ICE is run by Mexicans. That’s where I’m at.
