I understand the concepts. My hearing has been degrading for years.
I should get hearing aids, but I am too vain ( I may be 63, but I am still a good looking man LOL) and I am too cheap... they cost about 6 to 8k each to get what I would want.
I am not deaf in both ears yet and I have learned to lipread.
Getting old isn’t for sissies.
My recently deceased (21/11/11) father got a KILLER set of hearing aids a year and a half ago for under $5K.
We’ve sent them to his mother, since hers are utter CRAP...
