Check out a site called Zero Hedge. Posts on this blog are regularly posted on FR. While ZH primarily addresses economic issues, but you would be amazed at the anti-semetic sentiment on that site. Many definitely believe a Jewish cabal runs the world. It especially comes out when posters go out of their way to defend Iran and demonize Israel. Its really stunning.

Never heard of the first guy. As for Ron Paul, I don't think his growth in support is not due to anti-semitism per se, but his libertarian policies. I think most of his supporters are not necessarily anti semitic, but they excuse his connections to it.

Strange, however, that the most prominent cause, the "M" word, is not even mentioned.

While i might happen to agree with Dershbagowitz about this topic, I remember a little book he wrote about His Slickness and the effort to hold him accountable. The book was called “Sexual McCarthyism”. He wanted to excuse all of BJ Clinton’s indescretions.

I also remember a famous row he got into with Joe DiGenova. DiGenova cleaned his clock.

Dershbagowitz is a smarmy little bast@rd and I don’t have much respect for him.

I’ve never understood the hatred of Jews. Yet I hear it from people I know. People will believe anything and never stop to think for themselves or look at facts.
There are so few Jews in the world in comparison to almost any other race. They’ve been victims of genocide and murder through their whole history. They can’t hide long enough to form a secret cabal. What people might want to ask instead is who stands to benefit by using the Jewish people as a straw man to hide their own activities behind.

The same can be said of Ron Paul, who everyone has heard of. Paul has, according to The New York Times, refused to “disavow” the “support” of “white supremacists, survivalists and anti-Zionists who have rallied behind his candidacy.”

Paul and his followers are the face of modern anti-Semitism and they are every bit as dangerous as anti-Semites of the past.

So, Paul gives an interview in which he claims he is not an anti-Semite and that means we should disregard all evidence to the contrary?

Has it occurred to you that NO OTHER CANDIDATE has needed to given an interview denying anti-Semitism and the reason for that is that they don't have a history of anti-Semitism.

I love you ZC, but your book is your book and that doesn't make him an antisemite in any meaning of the term. Which is an modern term a century and a half old. Alan doesn't write, that I've seen, about faith, he's a secular person, at least what I see in the public sphere. And I can't judge other peoples faith.

I am curious, has he actually written that?
