The Romney Haters on this site are the ones who are out of touch. Just listen to the tone of these threads; absolutely hateful and not at all attractive. No independent thinker coming across these exchanges would be won over to the anti-Romney POV just based on the childish name calling in which some folks engage.

Notwithstanding that there is a big wide world that has done much more to Cain and Palin than we wohld do in our wildest dreams to Romney, you seem to be coming in the middle of the fifth sequel to a bad movie to start with. The purpose of FR is not to convert those whom are attracted to Romney, it is to unite to promote conservatism in order to defeat Romney. The 25% who still support Romney are either not politically engaged and won't find us, or are the enemy.

I have been here since 1998, first as Zevonfan, then due to a login problem in the early part of the 2000s as my current handle, Zevonismymuse. Whatever you think of my opinion it has nothing to do with a lack of familiarity with FR and Freepers. I don't care who you support but I am a little surprised that you think the priority is "to promote conservatism in order to defeat Romney." I would think the objective is to promote conservatism in order to defeat Obama and the threat to Liberty over which Obama presides.
