Just getting up to speed here on the IAF. More info Here, Here , Here and Here. It looks like they, (like Islam), use Faith to "cover" their Marxist intent - "Faith based community organizing." I didn't know "the machine" was that, well, . . organized.
". . about 133 local faith-based community organizations operate in 33 states across all regions of the country and claim more than 4000 institutions as members. About 3500 of those institutions are religious congregations, making more than 1 percent of all American congregations involved in a faith-based organizing group. Through its institutional membership base, the field may reach as many as three million people. Most of the 133 groups are themselves members of one of four national networks: the IAF, the Pacific Institute for Community Organization (PICO), the Gamaliel Foundation, and the Direct Action Research and Training Center (DART)."
Obama and Gamaliel Here. ". . during the period Barack Obama worked as a community organizer with the Developing Communities Project on the far South Side of Chicago (1985-1988), he was also a consultant and trainer for the Gamaliel Foundation." . . "Themes of Gamaliel trainings include such topics as "the world as it is" versus "the world as it should be," engaging the public arena, principles of congregation-based community organizing, power, self-interest, "one-on-one" relational meetings as a building block of organizing, agitation, metropolitan organizing, and building and sustaining an organization." . . The Developing Communities Project itself was an affiliate of the Gamaliel Foundation, whose modus operandi for the creation of a more just and democratic society is rooted firmly in the Alinsky method.)
All sounds pretty Marxist to me. . "Bottom up and top down."
BTW, hats off to David Horowitz at Discover the Networks for "PROFILE OF BARACK OBAMA, FROM BIRTH THROUGH ELECTION DAY 2008": Here. An absolute must read for every voter before November 6, 2012. Great links at the site too. A major "Pass it on" site. . If this was required reading for every voter, the Republican nominee would win 80:20. I hope they press hard on this info in their campaign ads.
Pretty amazing stuff. I wish all of this had been widely known before the election in 2008. I remember reading this in October, 2008 and thinking, "Well, that's it for Obama." Hopefully all voters will know this info by November, 2012. We have to win this war. . Spread the word. . .
