Good. I’d like to see perry stay through SC. Santorum and Gingrich are both viable alternatives, but both have real negatives, too. Not sure how santorum will play outside Iowa. Not convinced i want to place our future in the hands of Newt quite yet Perry is the most effective executive in the bunch. If he can show more improvement in campaigning, I am still open to him. With Bachmann stepping out, we still have room for 2-3 alternatives to Mitt. After SC the conservatives need to coalesce around the winner of the not Romney race and back them in Florida to take the lead.

Your points are good
i agree, let perry stay in
now that the media will be focused on Santorum maybe voters will pay attention to what Perry has to say, well even Gingrich.

I love how my leftist friends keep saying Romney will be the nominee
I am not ready to settle on one choice yet and i sure don’t want the media to do it for me

Perry is a southern governor campaigning in the south
Mechanically, he has the executive qualities to impress in townhall type groups. Can he do it and overcome his dismal debate cameos? Imagine him throwing together with Santorum to capture the social issues voters and the rust belt.

Methinks this is why Bachmann stayed in Iowa: Romney owes her his win. If Perry costs Santorum a winner-take-all Florida, it will have the same effect. Search: "Fred Thompson" + "fan dance"

Perry was the only candidate in Iowa other than the “big three” to cary a county - he carried 2, and was a strong second place finisher in several more.

He needs to send his campaign pollsters into these counties to find out what went right - and use that information to tweak his campaign message.

I think SC could be very fertile ground for Perry. He is absolutely right on each and every issue that I care about, and he has the executive experience to back that up. I think that he could be the most electable candidate on the field. He certainly does not have any of the negatives that plague Romerry, Gingrich, and Santorum - all talkers. Or Paul, either, whose cotton stuffing is showing through the seams.
