There was no cocaine. It was powdered aspirin, exactly as Meredith Graves said it was.

WTH is with the recent spate of CHL people carrying sharp sticks looking for sleeping dogs to poke in the eye?
Someone trying to brew up a federal CHL case for the supreme court?

Bloomberg needs his ass sued.

Next time Bloomberg or one of his hired thugs gets caught down here in Virginia running guns I don't think we should let them escape.
Jail Time would be really good for Bloomy ~ LOTS OF IT.

We also need to start busting him for picking up male hookers when he comes in at Dulles.
Some of these New Yorkers have no sense, and he's one of them.

New Yorkers are so provincial. If they've never seen it in New York, then it certainly does not exist.

It’s always the ones who try to do the right thing that get hammered. If she had kept her mouth closed this wouldn’t have happened. Always know the laws when you carry out of state.

I heard the story about the student from Arizona that got caught with a gun in the trunk of his car in New Jersey and was sent to prison. It caused me to check the specific laws of every state through which I would pass on my drive from Seattle to my new home in Kentucky last summer.
There is no way I’d enter New York, New Jersey, or a host of other states with a gun on my person, and possibly in my car, unless I was looking for a constitutional fight.
And I would expect it to take the rest of my life and be my primary purpose on the planet. A sort of “living martyr” sort of thing.

Should any FReepers still be considering putting themselves in jeopardy by visiting New York City, a netsearch on the NYPD's revived "Lucky Bag" project should restore them to sanity. The NYPD has been setting out apparently lost wallets, etc. and arresting person who pick them up, with the genuine intention of finding the owner. Quite a few people with no criminal record have been arrested and the system is not set up to handle a "Not Guilty" plea. The expense is significant, and the time involved can be months. "Lucky Bag" arrests are in contravention of New York property law, PEP Section 252, as well as the Torah law concerning returning lost objects to the owner. Some reports say that a plea bargain with a fine and expungement after six months is a disposition many accepts, which makes the this even more despicble.

All she needed to do was keep her mouth shut...
To: marktwain
She should sue Bloomberg personally for libel and defamation. Then if necessary, use it as a chip to get the city to dismiss the charges against her and then drop the lawsuit.

I cannot see what anyone sees in NYC. I’ve been going there once a month for the last 18 months. Its a dirty, nasty, crowded place run by corrupt leftists.

Why would any conservative willingly visit NY? I will never set foot in that hell hole nor will I knowingly support businesses there. They deserve what they have wrought. And the same goes for CA.
