Not to burst your bubble but Rush had been talking up Santorum long before Sarah.

I lost a lot of respect for her over her McCain support for Senate, ut her recent media show before not running finished me off. If she ran I would have supported her, now I have my doubts.

However, I doubt she will ever run for office again.
