Because according to Article IIs most usual historical interpretation, in order to be a Natural Born Citizen, both ones parents have to be citizens at the time of the candidates birth.Yeah so ¨obvious¨ that somehow the Republican enemies of Chester A. Arthur and the Birthers (until a few months ago) missed this ¨obvious¨ point. Any case about this that goes to the Supreme Court would be laughed out within minutes by the ghosts of Chester A. Arthur and his BRITISH CITIZEN parents
