Fox interviewing Rick Perry. Perry was saying that the night is still young and that he still expects to prevail. Well he's in fifth place right now and will likely stay there now that 47% of the vote is in. Perry also mentioned he was heading straight to SC in the morning, so he is apparently bypassing NH altogether to focus his efforts in the South. By the way, his supporters in the background looked completely demoralized.

With nearly half the vote in, Santorum is about 300 votes ahead.

Only about 120,000 Iowans came out to vote tonight. About the same as four years ago.

And a lot of those 120,000 voters tonight were Democrats switching their votes to R and voting for Paul. 25% of them per FNC exit polls and 1/2 of those went to Paul.
