Newt is on cspan now..magnificient. Just remember this about Santorum..he voted to raise the debt ceiling EIGHT times. He is NOT a fiscal conservative. He voted for the bridge to nowhere in Alaska and is known for supporting earmarks. He is a good man on SOCIAL issues and America needs more civility for sure...but we need a savvy fiscal conservative and that man is definately Newt. We know about the rest of the candidates. I agree with you that Newt is our best hope. Rick Santorum was smart to hit the trail very hard and was the beneficiary of the massive volume of attack ads from mostly Romney and Paul and a bit from Perry. It is very clear who the establishment and the liberals fear, and it is Newt.
He needs to fight on because if the conservatives take a step back and think hard who truly is their strongest, fiercest leader, it’s no contest between Newt and Rick Santorum. You can just tell by the amount of love the media is giving Santorum tonight. They want Newt out of the way.
Just remember,
Newt is a serial adulterer, a liar, a politician who will sleep with the other side to gain points with them and he caves under the least amount of pressure from the other side. Oh and Newt is a self proclaimed progressive republican who wants to keep hundreds of pages of Obama’s health care disaster, endorses leftwing hack job “republicans” over real solid conservative candidates.
