He was asked if he was being "Swift-Boated."

"No," he replied, "I'm being Romney-Boated."

There was no slam against the SBV, who told the TRUTH. He was slamming Romney for smears and lies.

“Romney Boated” was being used as a pejorative term. The obvious implication was that being “boated” was a bad / underhanded type of thing.

He wasn’t paying Romney a compliment when he compaired him to the Swift Boat Vets.
