Dead on. I can't remember a Moderate Republican candidate winning the Presidency, yet many of the same people tell us every 4 years that a Conservative can't win, for they won't appeal to the “Independents”.

Conservatives make up a plurality of voters in this Country, perhaps even a majority. If Republicans run a Conservative, Conservative voter turnout is extremely difficult to overcome for any opponent. Yet, here we are again, with most of the pundits telling us we must cater to a small minority of voters, potentially sacrificing a much larger voting block...us!

I have a very strong belief that many of the people who claim to be on our side (the Faux Conservative crowd) would actually be just fine with four more years of Obama, hence they are pushing McCain Romney.

Nixon was a liberal, by today's standards, and Eisenhower was practically a communist. The top tax rate was 91%!

That's because a bloc vote swings disproportionate influence over a) candidates and b) officeholders' voting patterns (studies have shown).

Liberals have educated blacks to bloc-vote, and that plus marginal, fungible, might-disappear-if-you-don't-act-right grantsmanship/political money have allowed them to buy our officeholders out from under us.
