I’m glad he’s back. Blacks need to see and alternative that’s well-spoken and conservative. He will be a big help in spreading the word about the disaster that is BO and his administration. Especially if our candidate is to scared to say anything.

Cain should have fought it, he should have said:”Hey, yeah, I’m a stud just like all the Kennedy’s, Clinton and Edwards, so what. If it didn’t matter with them, why does it matter with me?” I miss the fire he brought to the primary. There is “0” excitement currently. Dems and Republicans = zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Rand Paul should put his old man in a straight jacket and ship him over to Iran.

ROTFL. Too bad Rand is campaigning for his old man.

Is he pimping for Hannity’s show or something of that nature? Maybe ratings are down and Fox thinks bringing Herman on will boost them some. Might also to test the waters....he does love the limelight. Like Hollywood stars so too are many politicians....even his wife attested to Herman liking the attention...they can’t stay out of the limelight for long.

You sure didn’t circle the wagons for Cain. It was because of weaklings in our own party who turned their backs on the man that he ended up dropping out. It’s one thing to stand and fight, it’s another thing when you have “conservatives” stabbing him in the back. And for what? Progressive Newtie? He’s already imploding, and so is our movement thanks to conservatives incapable of discerning real value.

The other candidates didn’t catch fire because the vast majority of them are either RINOs or purely mediocre.

Pretty disgusting. The man isn’t even in the race anymore, but people are still willing to tarnish him. It’s because of people like you that we lost a perfectly good candidate before we even had a chance to vote for or against him.

He should stick around and fight if he has the stomach for it, even if he’s just nursing a personal grudge.

Turning over a few percentage points in the black vote could make the difference.

I don’t know what his problem is, but if he thinks he can suspend a Presidential run because it hits hot water and then jump in later and win, he isn’t as sharp as some think he is.

“He did his job, making sure no other conservative could catch fire, and then dropping out to make way for Romney and Gingrich to fight it out.”

You’re absolutely right in my estimation. He was a ploy. He was never running for POTUS. He was interviewing for a job that would be given to him. His private life was never supposed to have been scrutinized. He was so loud and preposterous that he drowned out other candidates except for the soft-spoken Romney who stood back and let it all unfold. I think what happened was that Cain started believing his own press. The little train that could became the mighty Cain Train. Something happened on the way to the depot that brought it back down to size.

Good for Cain.

Even Lincoln failed numerous times before getting back up and starting over again.

I hope he continues to be one of our voices of reason and conservatism, whatever his plan is.

Huh? I was behind Mr Cain early on.
I will listen to what he has to say but I don’t see how he picks up where he left off anymore than I see Mrs Palin getting back into the race.
If that is what his announcement is about?

“You know, I really get a kick out of you keyboard warriors.”

I guess we all have a little keyboard warrior in us.:) Otherwise, I have tried commenting on various sites without a keyboard and it doesn’t work so good.

“He’s not our leader, no, but an endorsement would have helped draw conservatives to a particular candidate.

Conservatives are in desperate need of unity. You’ll be as angry as me if Romney wins the nomination because conservatives split the vote too many ways. There’s nothing admirable about sitting on your hands when you have the potential to make a difference.

My frustration isn’t directed toward Herman Cain in particular, though. Just thought I’d clear that up. I actually like what he stands for, but I think he’s going about everything the wrong way.”

Since the early states are not “winner take all” this time around, that changes all the calculations.

There may be an advantage to waiting to see how the early states will go, who gains traction, etc.

I doubt he’ll have any impact on the black vote.

Yeah, cuz you’re just so awesome. Let us hope the majority of conservatives aren’t going to curse us with a mediocre candidate who was “worthy” of them.
