It reflects Hannitys' character, not Colmes'. Hannity is very loyal. He made a point tonight of saying that Colmes called Santorum to apologize. Imagine that conversation.

"Hey, Rick, it's Alan. I just called to apologize for using your dead baby to make a political point on national television today. So, we cool? Alrighty then, good luck in Iowa."
