No matter what happens at the Iowa caucuses Tuesday, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann said Monday she will not drop out of the race for president.
During an appearance on MNSBCs Morning Joe, Bachmann said her campaign has already bought our plane tickets. Were headed to South Carolina as soon as were done on Wednesday morning. Well be there. Were going the distance.
Bachmann won the Iowa Straw Poll in August, but suffered a fall hard as the campaign season went on. The most recent Des Moines Register poll shows her in last place, with 7 percent.
This isnt over, she said. Were not here for a post mortem. Were here because I intend to continue to launch our campaign out of Iowa. I think were going to do very well.

The maliciousness has exceeded even that which Sarah Palin endured.Seriously? Did they file 50 ethics charges against her? Move in next to her? Burn her church? Blame her for a nutjob shooting a congresswomen 7 states away? Michele has had a cakewalk. She did herself in grasping at strawmen early and often.
If she stays in I would check whether Romney is financing her campaign.

Persistence is a virtue, I suppose, but denial is not.
To: Paul Ross
Smear? It’s her own words - she is staying in the race while at the bottom of the barrel. What is that about? OUR COUNTRY? LOL! Get a grip, paulie.

"Were going the distance."
Either Bachmann is a liar or she is stupid.
You choose.
She'll be out of money BEFORE SC.

Absolutely, he is. When Newt starts his whipping of mitt, he's gonna need momma there to protect him. It's an embarrassment to watch it in action.

Come now, that's a 1st grade type accusation.
A) running for President is going to impede one's attendance in Congress - and if she, the most conservative candidate, is elected it would be an historic windfall for conservatism, so it is well worth her effort to help the Republican party by running for President.
B) if a vote is 1) important and 2) going to be close - those are the votes she gets back to Washington for. Duh. If a vote is passing or failing by dozens or hundreds of votes only an idiot would leave their campaign efforts to go back and vote.
This is the kind of misinformation that has people voting for Newt Romney.

Dear Michelle: The marriage is over.
You are now sounding like many an EX WIFE.
To: ez
Once you start running for President...you aren’t IN Congress. Roll Call, is a rather liberal entity, has complained about both her and Ron Paul on this. They never complained about Obama missing far more than the 54% of votes they admit to his missing after running for President. And the frauds of the Daily Kos I don’t think we need to dwell on.

Exactly how would Romney be financing her campaign - I'd like you do document that here.
I'm very interested in the money trail on that.
I mean, if one candidate is diverting their own campaign cash to another campaign, that'd be a newsworthy item.
Perhaps the money is not going through Romney's campaign. How silly of me. Right, he's got his fundraisers raising money for Michele.
Let's have a look at opensecrets.org and see how that's working out.
Maybe the money isn't reported on opensecrets. Maybe her campaign has two sets of books.
I think Boss Hogg is backing Michele's campaign.
I don't accuse Romney or Newt of illegal campaign tactics. Or anyone in the Republican field.
Because I'm pretty sure they're a) simply trying to run legitimate campaigns and win and that takes up enough organizational effort and b) very much NOT wanting to have a scandal like that.
Beating the old dead horse of Bachmann for being "in cahoots" with Romney reveals a desperation to see Newt elected.
Which, is absurd for anyone who purports to be against big government. There's just far too much of Newt's and Michele's actual Congressional record, job history and public quotes to not see the stark difference in their respective beliefs in the role of government.
Granted, Newt is making a very wonderful effort at recasting himself to better fit the mold of what grassroots conservatives are looking for today. But, like Romney, what causes grassroots unease with that is not the current stance but the recasting.

Toddlers Rules seem to fit Bachmann .
1. If I like it, it’s mine.
2. If it’s in my hand, it’s mine.
3. If I can take it from you, it’s mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, it’s mine.
5. If it’s mine, it must NEVER appear to be yours in anyway.
6. If I’m doing or building something, all the pieces are mine.
7. If it looks just like mine, it is mine.
8. If I saw it first, it’s mine.
9. If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically
becomes mine.
10. If it’s broken, it’s yours.

annieokie hasn't created an about page.Go ride the silver surry, Annie. You are attacking the ONLY conservative left. The only reason her support dropped was the RINOs brought in the Rick Perry campaign...and the Texans and ex-Texans all then sided with him. At least until his illegal immigration weakness was decisively revealed. And then Herman Cain rose, and he was attacked by Obama's henchmen...and nobody has really defended him except Ann Coulter. And then Newt Gingrich rose. Until his real history...and his K-Street corruption and insider status, and his progressivism, and reminders of his infidelity ... was fully disclosed. Then Ron Paul jumped to the top until his insanity in his past publications have been exposed along with his ongoing continuing failure to recognize the imminent threat of Iran's nuclear ambitions to explicitly attack "the great satan and the little satan...simultaneously."
That now brings Santorum up, who also has a huge K-Street problem, and more seriously, a really sad case of putting the party over conservative constitutional values and principles. Just look at how he attacked every one who pushed for stopping the debt ceiling increase.
Bachmann has been the only one philosophically steadfast...and reliable in history.

What is it about? Yes, Our Country. Clearly not something you care about. She has been putting up with the Communist controlled MSM for 10 years straight. And she is not doing it "for herself". But smearers like you continue to throw out your falsehoods.
Which frankly is so sad.

It’s been a while since I’ve had toddlers that I’d forgotten their rules but that sure fits. I think there are toddlers in the conservative movement, also. They refuse to see they are being played with by a self appointed “I”, “I”, “I” leader.
Who else would mitt seek help from in giving him any credibility and be his buffer? Who but the TP or any true conservative would kick him to the curb and stomp on him. Oops. I guess MB didn’t get the memo - there are some who are ‘watching’ her while some were content in just listening to her. Lull me to sleep, mommy.
To: Gator113
Newt is pro-Human Caused Global Warming in belief. No denying his position.
As far as I can see, that defective contentions of his is a legitimate litmus test to kick him out of the running
It has long been proven that the whole thing is a Progressive Scam to make a world government.
And Newt and Nancy are undoubtedly both for it.
