I notice she did the usual “there are some who say” which basically translates to “the person sitting next to me on the bus”.

Me: I took it to translate as “In order to appear unbias, I will pretend it isn’t me saying and believing this and say that “there are some who say.” That way, maybe those listening to me, will think that there is a majority of people who think and say this and it’s not just something I think and believe and therefor would be called to task over.”
“Some say” is the classic perky Katie Couric line. Somebody should sell a talking Katie doll that repeats that!
