The President said this yesterday.

“I can tell you, as I’ve said over the last couple of months since this happened, the minute I found out what was happening, I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to.

So if the caller to Rush's show yesterday, whom is pinged here, and you are correct then this statement would indicate that the military should have proceeded. Reports are that they did nothing, why? And whom is responsible? Rhetorical of course.

But if you look at his whole quote, as I pointed out in at the referenced post, he is speaking in past tense meaning the minute he found out was on the 12th?

Bob McFarland was just on Bret Baer’s re-cut report on Benghazi (at about 1:50 EDT) saying that Obama committed “dereliction of duty” by failing to authorize an immediate rescue/reinforcement when the facts as now known clearly warranted it.

Obama went to bed, and his “no action” orders could not be countermanded until he woke up again on the 12th, as the smoke was clearing.

In bed at 5 pm? More likely otherwise detained behind closed doors doing who knows or high as a kite. Incapacitated or gave the stand down orders, the public needs to get him out of office. Doesn't matter if a mission had gone wrong (or wag the dog or an out right hit), it needed to be stopped. The buck stops with the POTUS. If it had been Bush, the entire Hill would be locked in with angry protests and violence but this clown gets a pass and a re-election. No, I'm not so sure he won't still be there come Nov. 3 whether by cheating or by the stupidity of our citizens.

Good idea. He might have already discussed any games that might have been on that night in some of his fluff interviews with MTV, Leno. The view etc. and it might already be on record so to speak. I would volunteer for that duty but just watching the man makes me ill.

Snip: What terrorists or really anyone can do is use a website to decode the barcode and get the flight information, put it into a text file, change the 1 to a 3, then use another website to re-encode it into a barcode. Finally, using a commercial photo-editing program or any program that can edit graphics replace the barcode in their boarding pass with the new one they created. Even more scary is that people can do this to change names. So if they have a fake ID they can use this method to make a valid boarding pass that matches their fake ID. The really scary part is this will get past both the TSA document checker, because the scanners the TSA use are just barcode decoders, they don’t check against the real time information. So the TSA document checker will not pick up on the alterations. This means, as long as they sub in 3 they can always use the Pre-Check line.

Hiya!

For starters I took a nasty fall while gardening (&%*% rocks) and smashed my femur and broke off a chunk of the ulna. Talk about feeling helpless! The worst is behind (steel plate in arm after surgery). I was instructed not to pick up anything heavier than my toothbrush (try that for fun). Top it off with my garden was pathetic because I couldn't weed, Fortunately the corn was taller than the weeds.

Then came guests. One after another and then we took a trip to visit our oldest, and FINALLY, I can breathe again! Am sure you can relate! Thanks for asking and thanks for keeping things going here!

Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said tonight that his sources tell him that Obama was one of the people in the room watching the Benghazi attack go down and both he and Col. David Hunt agree it would have taken an order by the president to intervene.

Further, Col. Hunt said that we were only 20 min away by jet and a couple of hours away by AC-130 gunships and special forces, and the decision not to intervene had to be political.
