“This is after all the university whose medical school performed the first sex-change operations.”
Medical schools perform operations?
You are more likely referring to Johns Hopkins Hospital, the consistently #1 ranked hospital in the US. Its department that did sex changes was closed in the 70’s.
May I suggest they have saved countless lives, including my son’s, when all else failed. A friend was flown in from AZ for an operation that could not be performed anywhere else in the world. If you or a loved one had a rare life-threatening disorder, you’d suddenly be awfully glad JH is there.
You are right. When you need a really good hospital, Johns Hopkins is the place to go.
None of them are any good for most people with cancer...
I doubt I'll ever have any condition that can't be treated by someone in the Houston Medical Center.
