Can’t you see we’re having fun here? Don’t bother us with facts.

When I joined FR about 10 years, most of the threads and posts were written by intelligent adults. Much of what we see here now is unfounded speculation, and adolescent name calling.

Zero, Nobama, Bambi, Noot, Milf, Mittens, ___ bots, Mr. Gardasil, et cetera.

Then there are those who make it appear that they know the candidates on a personal basis by using their first names.

Now for dumb remarks, you win.

Then there are those who use disparaging little nicknames. That’s totally typical of intelligent adults.

When I first joined we had a few fierce battles but remained friends, or perhaps forgot.

I hope that people here who have behaved like idiots will be forgiven and that we can join together behind whomever we nominate and defeat Obama.

Geez, not this again.

Let's see...

I've used the first names Fred, Sarah, Mitt, Rudy, Newt, Hillary and others. Many posters have done the same. There are reasons why people use familiar first names after discussing and posting about familiar candidates for so many years. The reason you give, that one wishes to appear as if they know the candidate on a personal basis, is not the reason why I do so.

That makes your comment "unfounded speculation".

And being that you were complaining about people who make "unfounded speculations", your unfounded speculation is also ironic.
