I am all for adults accessing porn if they so choose, but they need to make it easy for parents to block it from their computers. Something needs to be done.

I wish that porn would get given its own ".xxx" global domain, to make it easier to screen.
Of course, there would be issues with determining just what deserves to go into there, but at least making a voluntary .xxx global domain would be a good start.

There are kid-friendly proxies you can set up to provide a filter of the porn. They've been around for quite a while.
Here's one. Of course, a 12-year-old will know how to reconfigure the browser around that...the Google search that found that also found websites with instructions on how to to break out.

Yes, something needs to be done, but it needs to be done by the family, not by the government. If I allow the government to tell my children that they can't read porn, how will I stop the government from telling them they can't read the Constitution?
It is up to me (us) to set standards for our families, not for Washington (or Tallahassee, or Vierra or any form of government)
