I’ve always liked Newt. He was the common sense of the bunch. I do think he’d make a decent POTUS, and of the current crap of candidates we have to choose from, I’d strike my vote for him-and I wouldn’t really need to hold my nose.

I know, I know...he’s not a “true” Conservative. But, guess what? There are 310 million people here. Of which, about 110 million are, or can be, voters. We’ve had 3 administrations, in a row, stretching the boundaries of our Constitution. And now we have 0bama, who disregards it in it’s entirety. People are mad as hell, too much drastic change, and way too fast. Now, we need someone who can slow things down, make sense of it all, and get the majority of us on the same page somewhere in the middle. Someone who can gain the population’s trust in Government back. We’ve lost so much ground, now we have to rebuild. It takes baby steps to do that.

I think Newt is up to that challenge, and none of the others are. But, of course, the fix is, and has been, in for Romney, and he’ll get the nod.

God have mercy on U.S.

I believe this was after he recommended that the poor kids be given laptops.
