It's the VA GOP RULE which was changed in Oct. of this year to the rule that they had to be verified. In the past it was just 10000 signatures which Gingrich and Perry did receive.

Additionally, the Virginia GOP and other state GOPs need to challenge Ron Paul’s claim to be a Republican, when he is Libertarian. He should not be able to run as Republican.
