Yes, if you read the proceedings at Nuremburg and some of the memoirs you'll find lots of them had Jewish "friends". Barbers, doctors, lawyers, lovers. They didn't hate Jews, the individual, rather Jews, the collective. Which is irrelevant when you're killed, but I suppose relevant when you're playing the "I was following orders" card.
