I helped Michelle Bachmann when she first ran here in Minnesota as a state legislator to oust a RINO GOP incumbent fraud who was imposing socialist rat education on all public schools. She won, and helped beat the crap out of the rats in the legislature. I then helped her run for the US House, and have been proud of her stable rock-solid conservative values, and seriously concerned about the failure of people to realize that they needn't fear anything in her history, or her convictions solidity, or her intelligence to recognize scams politically or economically...and her willingness to confront the communists in our media and the opposion party.

The defections from her campaign appear to be more about their 'fair weather friends' than a disrespect for her solidity.

If she had had more money up front, I believe most of them would not have left.

Actually, she is better off without them.

In my brief exposures to national politics, one constant was the total lack of convictions and beliefs of the vast majority of those who work political campaigns. They are in it for themselves, and hope that by hitching onto some candidates star they will propel themselves to great wealth, power, and fame. And for not a few, it works. Think Stephanopoulous, Gergen, Rollins, Jody Powell, Dick Morris, Beckel - all people without principles who will switch their loyalties in a heartbeat if it will improve their status or income.
