I hope the police catch the second guy and fast. It would just worry me to death to know that the bad guy’s buddy is still lurking around.

I hope they do too. They know who he is and where he lives. He is wanted on other charges.

The second perp is probably far from that well armed area. If he came back, he'd likely get shot too.
