The trouble is absence of fathers and this leads to a disrespect for authorities. Households where the mother is the head don’t get enough discipline.
This isn’t a racial issue. Few men were ever grandfathers in pre-1776 America and a majority of households were headed by mothers. This lead to a large cohort of white Americans who were very much anti-authority. They gave us our American Revolution.
Controlling for race and not fatherhood automatically falsifies this study. If they factored in women head of households I bet the difference would be nil.
Here is a good way to look at this.
Black Conservatives are Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Herman Cain.
Black Liberals are Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Maxine Waters.
The group of students that want to be the former, whether black or white are probably the ones who are going to stay out of trouble.

Black students risk beatings, or even death, if they are seen by other Urban Ferals as “acting white”. That so many black and Hispanic students are not Urban Ferals is proof that allowing government in to any aspect of family was a bad idea. Not to mention a Constitutional violation.
