And not a single news report on a single one of them.

Obama has been pro nuclear. He is a GE man.

Obama proposes nuclear power expansion while Japan has nuclear crisis

Yes Marxist today are anti-nuke, but the main Marxist players in the last century, the Soviet Union, were extremely pro nuclear.

Obama's plan for energy security and the green economy

"By 2035, 80 percent of our electricity will come from a broad array of clean energy sources –- from renewables like wind and solar and homegrown biofuels, along with natural gas, clean coal, and nuclear power."

Granted, Obama could be changing his position, but his main player on the NRC was just over in Japan congratulating the Japanese on achieving cold shutdown. Most Japanese citizens realize cold shutdown is just a lie.

Even so, I’d like to see an official disclaimer that says the Pacific Northwest is totally free of radiation from Japan.

They can't because it is not. However, everything is a matter of degree. If I pee in a lake I have raised the level of the lake, that does not mean that I have caused a flood that will wipe out the Ohio Valley.

You got a tiny dose of radiation from what happened in Japan. Less then what you get from eating a banana.

You have to understand that an above ground nuclear test with its heat and mushroom cloud sends the fallout high into the upper reaches of the atmosphere where it takes a long long time to washout or make its way back to earth, centuries. But it does add to background radiation levels over time with each nuclear release because each nuclear release leaves its own signature pattern in the radioactive debris and is cataloged for reference so scientists know if readings are from old nuke fallouts or a new event via the signature patterns.

A nuclear bomb only requires a hand full of very pure nuke material to do it’s damage. These nuke power plants contain hundreds of thousand of nuke dirty bomb materials since it is not in pure form. So, a low altitude release especially at ground level immediately exposes the fallout to every living thing and what contamination does go air borne washes out with precipitation as it travels the globe in the lower atmosphere skipping some areas while concentrating in others and showing up in dust or dirt after it dries.

Is this Nuke Biased propaganda? So everyone who dies of cancer now
will be placed in this category?

Reminds me of gun death propaganda.

Thanks for the links. Spokane’s not looking too good, but then, I knew that. Worst air quality since my LA years. :(

Great job. Keep spreading the word about radiation hormesis. Actually, hormesis works on other ‘threats’ as well.
