This is one of the most touching videos I’ve ever seen. I don’t normally post stuff like this, but Ben’s story is amazing:
Ben had just created these videos a few days ago as it was uploaded on December 18. I haven’t confirmed this, but it’s all over the net right now and also in Kudi’s remarks. Apparently Ben passed away on Christmas night. RIP.
I never heard of Kid Cudi before, but he sent this letter back to Ben after watching the videos:
“I broke down, Iam to tears because I hate how life is so unfair. This has really touched my heart in a way I cant describe, this is why I do what I do. Why I write my life, and why I love you all so much… We love you Ben. Forever. Thank you for loving me." (link)
I just found this thread.
I found the story and video very moving. It made my eyes wet.
I am quite amazed that there have not been more responses to this thread.

Yeah, I’m surprised, too. I’ve seen a few mentions of these videos outside of FreeRepublic; it seems like they are becoming more popular.
His story has been picked up by some MSM outlets, and there is a Wikipedia entry on him.
This boy has touched a lot of lives. RIP, Ben.
