Thomas Sowell’s endorsement is more meaningful to me than a hundred editorial board endorsements and two hundred politicians’ endorsements. I won’t say he’s convinced me just yet, but — as always — he’s provided good food for profitable thought.

I’m... not convinced on Newt, but he’s the most palatable of the field of potential candidates at this point; and barring a miracle, Bachmann/Santorum will be also-rans when everything is wrapped up.

I trust Sowell more than most, and his thought-provoking article is giving me pause.
