A drawing by the state Board of Elections puts Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul first on the ballot for Virginia’s March 6 primary.

Mitt Romney will appear second on the ballot. Paul and Romney are the only GOP presidential candidates who have qualified for Virginia’s ballot.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that the board held the drawing Wednesday.

If being first on the ballot for a Presidential election is some sort of advantage, then the Republic might be already beyond saving.

Paul is a year older than McCain. Let Paul get the nomination and we’ll hear all about how old he is, how he will drop dead after one week in the White House, how he is on life support, etc. Compared to the young, health and robust (no mention of cigarette or drug use) Obama.

I’m starting to believe that the DNC is deliberately sabotaging the Republican primaries by creating fake polls and using the media to distort what’s really going on.

We need to turn our attention to the media instead of fighting about the Republicans. Cain was the only candidate, in my opinion, who had any chance of beating Obama. Stick a stodgy old white man in the nominee position, and the Republic won’t survive to 2016.

If Paul wins Iowa, I fear for sanity. But, I will laugh myself to sleep that night, because people will have chosen the Mad Hatter rather than the Moderate. I mean, really, if I were a professional politician (perish the thought) and I lost to Ron “bANKERZ RRR bAd!!! HUR HUR HUR” Paul in a primary, I’d leave the country in disgrace. I can only hope that Paul beats Mitt and Mitt drops out of the race, depressed that he couldn’t beat a man supported by Stormfront.

The first of 2 names. What a joke.Paul probably had his name on 2 pieces of paper in the hat. Romney didn’t have his name in it. Lookey here, Paul wins.
