Romney look beyond GOP Presidential Primary [beyond conservatism, onward progressivism]

The former Massachusetts governor largely ignored his GOP rivals while speaking to New Hampshire voters Tuesday. Romney focused instead on President Barack Obama. And he sounded increasingly optimistic about his chances. "I think I'm going to get the nomination if we do our job right.

Asked about Gingrich's Virginia ballot problem, Romney referenced a famous "I Love Lucy" episode; referring to the episode where Lucy is humorously overwhelmed by her job. "You've got to get it organized."

Romney focused on broad issues likely to win over independents. "I'm not going to spend my time bashing the Democrats and attacking them day in and day out, because that makes it impossible to sit down and work together," he said. He promised to reach across the aisle to Democrats if elected. And in a nod toward the country's surging Latino population, Romney added that he's open to expanding legal immigration.

Watch the entire compilation if you can get by the first couple of clips without upchucking.

I'm not going to spend my time bashing the Democrats and attacking them day in and day out because I'm a coward at heart and the Left are my ideologial bedfellows.

Yep; he thinks he’s got the nomination sewed up alright. Does he not know that once the number of candidates winnows down, his 26% will not win the contest for him.

"He promised to reach across the aisle to Democrats if elected."

Now, that's exactly what we need (/s) but can count on from McRomney. It's in his genes.

“RinoRom thinks he has the nomination sewed up.”

He probably does, and it will trigger the swansong of the GOP.

No loss to conservatives, as all it has offered for twenty years is placebos.

Classic Romney! When he thinks he has Conservatives thoroughly buffaloed and subdued, he goes into “Pander” mode.

There is just no vote he will not reverse his position for. His failed Gubernatorial term in Massachusetts is living proof of that. (3 Democrat, ultra Liberal Supreme
Court judge appointments, bypassing several Conservative choices)

Current Weather Report for Iowa on Jan 3: Sunny during the day and a high of 39 degrees. Windy and 27 that night.

I’m praying for rain mixed with sleet and snow and 30 mile wind gusts. Gotta keep the potheads, who want to legalize heroin and are supporting Ron Paul, at home. If the weather is real bad, they’ll just stay home and get stoned.
