While I agree with you, the left is going to go bonkers ANYWAY. No matter who the Republican candiate is.
Santorum and Bachmann are the only two candidates that I will get excited about. Hope one of them is our next POTUS! We need a VERY, VERY STRONG CONSERVATIVE for a CHANGE, who’s not afraid of a fight, when necessary.
I agree with you about Dick Morris, but this may be his “stopped clock” moment.
Romney has the money and the party Establishment’s near-unanimous endorsements, but still can’t get above 30% in the polls. The grassroots want a conservative. Santorum is the last solid conservative left standing, for people uncomfortable with Gingrich’s baggage.
He gets a lot of flack for that endorsement, but we let GW off the hook entirely, and he did some serious arm twisting in that election, because Arlen promised to be good. We are a strange lot here.
That alone would not keep me from voting for Santorum in the NH primary...
