Sarah had her chance for over a year to “run”. She strung people along with hopes she would run(including me); waited on bated breath for that annnouncement...month after month...until she finaly said “I am not running”.
I counted on the GOP main candidates to see that their best chance to win the nomination was to surpass the other in criticism of OBAMA, but instead, like fools, they took the media bait and attacked each other. Rather than elevating themselves, they only eroded the support for other viable candidates.
I do think it is possible, but not likely, that if Paul wins IA, Palin could say, "This just isn't acceptable" and jump in. This would temporarily coalesce the conservatives around her (the way others have temporarily had the base coalesce around them) until each of the other candidates began the circular firing squad and eroded her numbers. But it would be interesting.
