sorry, the ) should not be there.......
Wow! These liberal A-Holes at the National Review actually published an unbiased column for once. I doubt it will happen again, so thanks for sharing this!
National Review certainly is somewhere significantly to the left of where Bill Buckley intended it to be.
What does CD and AL stand for?
Also, for SC, it says 25 of 25 total delegates have been penalized per Rule No. 16. I thought rule 16 penalized only 50% of the delegates.
CD = Congressional District
AL = Delegate allocation
For some reason the RNC used the label “Total Delegates” on the first line and Penalized 26 delegates per Rule 16.
Rule 16 penality is 1/2 the number of total delegates rounding up if it comes out uneven.
However, if you look at the pages not being penalized you will see that by adding RNC, CD, AL up it will equal the total delegates as expressed on the first line.
Poor labeling in my opinion. Do a google search and see how many Congressional Districts your state has and see if they match.
Based on the PDF file I counted a loss of 144 delegates.
AZ 29 delegates
FL 49 delegates
NH 12 delegates
SC 25 delegates
MI 29 delegates
For instance: Michigan has 59 Congressional Districts
The 1st line says:
30 Total Delegates
penalized 29 delegates for Rule 16.
So the 1st line labeled Total Delegates is equal to the number going to Convention. If you add the two together you get the 59 Total Congressional Districts.
Yeah but for SC the .pdf says,
25 Total Delegates
Penalized 25 delegates per Rule No. 16
Doesn’t make sense. Maybe that’s a typo?
Do a search on SC Congressional Districts. I bet you have 50
Well now, I am also confuse. Maybe someone can come along and explain it to both of us.
It should not be this difficult to figure out.
