What is fact and fiction here? I’m like hearing that he is going to be in the primary, and then that he isn’t. What is true?
Perry and Gingrich filed signature petitions but upon review, their petitions failed to meet VA Republican Party's approval.
Apparently, Santorum, Huntsman and Bachmann never tried to get the required 10,000 signatures (with 400 needed from each of Va's 11 congressional districts).
Romney, Paul and Obama all are "legit" to run. Since no one is challenging Obama on the Dem ticket, there will be no Democratic Party Primary in VA.
In many states all you need to do is file and write a check.
