This whole thing is silly...

Children are dying horrible deaths every day in hospices around the world and Tebow thinks God is concerned about him scoring while playing with a little brown ball.

Nope, using that little brown ball is scoring for God and Jesus Christ. He was born and raised of missionaries and that is his calling. He just happens to have a physical talent that he uses to raise praise to He who he credits with his talents.

Got a problem with that?

No, Tebow thanks God for his athletic skill and good fortune.

It's the media that is blowing things way out of proportion. And that's only because it gives them good ratings. They really dislike Tebow and all he stands for.

I would agree that God does not care about football (or any other professional sport) and it is silly to suggest that He has any real effect on the outcome of these games. Tebow has never said that, though - he is thankful to be blessed with the ability he has. He has often said there’s no pressure and that he is paid to play a game he loves. I can certainly believe that God would be happy that Tebow uses his fame to spread the Gospel.
