Wow. For a town of 80,000, this is huge. Tea Party strikes sanity into the hearts of men! And women!

Governor Rick Scott of FL rejected $ from Hussein's stash for Tampa-Orlando high speed rail.
South FL Leftists actually filed suit (and lost) to force him to accept the money.

Its the way it has to happen. Nobody ever cut spending by holding their hand out.
My congressman ran on the promise that he wasn’t going to bring a lot of pork to the district. He says that we shouldn’t take in more than we produce.

Some large banks were also forced to accept TARP money in 2008.
Wells Fargo, Bank of America (before they too over Countrywide) and JP Morgan Chase come to mind.
The rationale was if only some banks received TARP money and not all, there WOULD be a major bank ran from those who accepted to those who did not because depositors will get the impression that these banks are in trouble ( and they were ). Better everyone take the money and dampen the panic.

In what could be a new high water mark of anti-Washington sentiment
I'd like to see it promoted as a challenge nationwide. Who can turn down the largest sum of money.

How long has Willie been gone? He and A+Burt were fun. Or is that funny?

Willie has been gone for a least a year.
He got into an argument with JimRob and stomped off never to return.

There was definitely something “other” about Harry. He was hilarious but I’m not sure it was intentional.
