No, I don’t support the “KKK” and what a stupid attempt at moral equivalence. Here’s a bit of history you might be unaware of. Nazi Germany and Islam were political and military allies in WW2. A man trying to protect his homeland and people from 7th. barbarians who threaten to dominate Britain is a ‘’thug’’. Curious. Are you a Saracen by chance?

It's not a stupid attempt at moral equivalence at all. It's directly relevent to the argument. If there is any real stupidity it is in your accusing me of being a saracen.

The point I'm trying to make is that the enemy of my enemy is not neccesarily my friend. If said enemy wants to do me down as well, just in a different way, surely it's a bad policy to empower them? As you brought Nazi Germany up (and yes I am well aware that many muslims were very friendly with them because of the antisemitism thing. Just remember many muslims fought for the allies too) here's a bit of history for you.

In the early years of the Nazi regime, one of the main ways Hitler bolstered domestic support for his policies, and justified his aggressive rearmament policies to other nations, was to declare he was "a shield defending Europe from Communism". It was a compelling argument, given the known ideological divisions between the Nazis and stalinist russia. Many Christians supported Hitler in the 1930's because they feared a communist takeover - and with good reason too. They knew what had happened to their co-religionists in the great marxist paradise. But their lack of opposition was a major reason the Nazis were able to consolidate their power.

Of course I'm not suggesting you support the KKK. It was a rhetorical question. In spite of the fact that you oppose radical Islam and so do they, you don't support them because they have all manner of other policies that I'm sure you very definitely do not agree with. So it is with the EDL. They oppose radical islam. Very good. I can agree with them on that. But I don't agree with them beating up cops, or people who support a different football team, or assaulting their own members who don't agree with them. What kind of way is that to run a country?

It's not a good plan to prevent one evil by embracing another.
