Best Buy lost us years ago with their idiotic returns policy.
Our microwave stopped working so we purchased a replacement at BB. After plugging in the new one, we discovered the problem was with the electrical outlet. But BB would not accept a return of the microwave because “the box had been opened”.
I don’t need that kind of crap when HHGregg is right across the street.

Best Buy was never big on customer satisfaction. The last time I bought anything major from them was 20 years ago, when I got a PC. The PC developed a problem, so I returned it. The first guy I talked to said BB would not accept a return because it was one day past the return deadline. I asked to speak to a manager. The guy said he WAS a manager, so I said I wanted to talk to whoever he reported to. Finally got an exchange of the defective PC. Never went back after that.

I first went into a Best Buy about 5 years ago..Just browsing..doing some research..one of our DVD players was acting up...they were having an “open box” sale of returned items...saw a really nice Magnavox player..for $10..box was opened..but the packing hadn’t been ripped..so I took a flyer....it still works perfectly..
