Maine’s governor, Paul LePage, is a TEA Party conservative.
He was elected in 2010, and during the campaign he was overheard saying, “If elected, I will spend most of my time telling Obama to go to hell.”

Not all hope is lost in New England. There are conservatives in all six New England states, but for the time being, we’re out-numbered by the libs.

As for Bush the elder, he ran on the Reagan record in 1988 and then, after being elected, he tossed all the conservatives overboard.
